Incremental said the interval 462.8-467.5m flowed at a stabilised rate of 1.15 million cubic feet of gas per day through a half-inch choke.
Following the shut-in period additional perforations will be added and the well will be prepared as a future producer, the company added.
According the Incremental, another shallower reservoir section is also present in the well and will be available for future production.
Once Kuzey Arpaci-1 is completed, the rig will then move to test Arpaci-1, which was drilled in January 2006 before 3D seismic was available.
The log interpretation on this well is ambiguous, and the purpose of the test will be to determine if gas is present, Incremental said.
"In the event that the test is wet, it will have no impact on the joint venture development plans, where we are rapidly moving towards monetising this significant asset," the company said.
Incremental holds a 55% stake in the Edirne licence, Otto Energy has 35% and a Turkish company, Petraco, holds the remaining 10%.
