Tap said yesterday the shutdown of the FPSO last month has not affected progress at the Woollybutt South development, with the installation vessel due to arrive onsite this week to begin hook-up.
Production will begin immediately following commissioning of the newly installed facilities at a total field rate of about 12,000 barrels of oil per day, the company added.
The Four Vanguard FPSO was shut down last month after free hydrocarbon gas was detected onboard the vessel.
Tap said it is working closely with operator Eni Australia to rectify deficiencies identified in the recent investigations.
The Woollybutt partners are Tap Oil 15%, Eni (operator and 65%) and ExxonMobil 20%.
