Burleson cranking up Texas output

Gas production from the company's Marlin-1 has been pipeline constrained since coming on stream while the high pressure it generates also means that the other wells in the area have not been able to produce at their full rates.

Output from Merlin-1 averaged about 9.5 million cubic feet of gas per day from mid to end March while the earlier YPU-1, Rocket-2 and Jet-3 wells produced an average of 800,000 cubic feet of gas per day during the entire month.

Burleson had in February increased its stake in the Marlin-1 well to a working interest of 29.7% and net revenue interest of 23%.
