Spudded last week, Duncan 3 is midway between Duncan-1 and 2 and is targeting the same Middle Wilcox pay sand encountered in Duncan-1 and 2 and Gilbert Freeman-1.
Drilling has reached 1531m with total depth planned for 3719m. Production casing is being run at 808m.
Elsewhere at Rayburn, Strike has completed the production facilities and pipeline connections to Duncan-2 and Gilbert Freeman-1.
Duncan-2 has been perforated and fraccing is underway.
Strike reports Duncan-1 continues to produce at stabilised daily rates of 10 million cubic feet of gas and 260 barrels of condensate.
The company says the Gilbert Freeman and Hlavinka-Duncan 1R wells will be tested progressively during April.
Managing director Simon Ashton said the completion of the initial phase of field development, including installation of the production pipelines and gas processing facilities, represents a major milestone in the development of Rayburn.
"The three completed wells can now be brought immediately to sales as flow testing is undertaken," he said.
Queensland drilling
In other company news, operator Beach Petroleum and Strike Oil spudded Currumbin-1 in ATP 633P on Wednesday.
Currumbin is targeting the Murta Formation, Namur Sandstone and Hutton Sandstone, which have been proven to be oil-prone within the area.
The well is targeting mean recoverable reserves of 450,000 barrels of oil with an upside of up to 6.2 million barrels of oil.
The well is about 5km south of Chiron Field and 5.6km west of Gidgee-1.
Beach is also planning to start drilling Coolangatta-1, identified by the 2007 Gukithi 2D seismic survey. Strike has a 15% interest in this venture.
