The marine and subsea engineering and services company said the new projects illustrated that Neptune was expanding its operations, customer base and pipeline of work, following four corporate takeovers in recent times.
Some of the new projects involve:
• An integrated fabrication, engineering, diving and project management contract for
Apache Energy for works on one of its offshore production assets on the North
West Shelf, Western Australia;
• Fabrication of subsea spools for Woodside Petroleum’s Vincent and Enfield projects, Western Australia;
• An underwater welding project using Neptune’s patented NEPSYS dry-welding technology for Italian energy company Eni SpA in the Gulf of Mexico, United States;
• Diving services for integrated energy company ConocoPhillips in the Timor Sea;
• Engineering and design works for subsea pipelines and manifolds for Coogee
Resources;
• Pipeline engineering for the Origin/Technip alliance to complete for the Kupe Field Development, New Zealand; and
• Fabrication of Main Line Valve (MLV) assemblies incorporating the installation of loops 9 and 10 for Alinta’s Dampier-Bunbury gas transmission pipeline.
Of particular significance was the integrated project encompassing fabrication, engineering, diving and project management services for Apache, according to Neptune managing director Christian Lange.
“This is a major achievement for Neptune, as it indicates that our businesses are working well together and delivering integrated solutions for customers,” Lange said.
“We expect this demand to continue as our customers look to streamline their organisations and improve operational efficiencies.”
Lange added that Neptune’s pipeline of bidding opportunities remains strong, with tenders currently being evaluated for oil and gas projects in Australia, the United States, the North Sea, the Middle East and South-East Asia.
