An open-hole drill stem test currently being run over the Kholan dolomite interval at a depth of 2626 metres to 2720 metres has flowed 1744 barrels per day of fluid, comprising 319 barrels of oil and 1455 barrels of brine, the company said.
During the week, the Kholan section of the well was re-acidised and a replacement electrical submersible pump (ESP) was run.
After the DST is complete, the company plans run a 7-inch liner over the Kholan dolomite. The bridge plug will then be removed and the hole cleaned out before further evaluating the Basement section.
Nabrajah-10 is 1km northeast of the Nabrajah-5 production well. It was designed to further appraise the Kholan dolomite and Basement potential in the Nabrajah-5 fault terrace.
Participants in Nabrajah-10 are DNO ASA, which holds a 56.67% stake, Oil Search (Yemen) which has a 28.33% stake and The Yemen Company (15%).
