APPEA launches 2005 conference program

Organisers said this would be Australia’s largest upstream industry event ever with more than 1500 participants, over 140 booths featuring exhibitors from Australia, China, USA and global network organisations, and more than 50 technical papers to be presented.

Exhibition space has sold out once already with the convenors planning to extend the conference area to accommodate more exhibitors. Interested parties are asked to urgently book their exhibition places by contacting Julie Hood on + 61 (0) 412 998 474.

“The conference aims to bring the important messages that are paramount to the industry to the forefront as delegates will be addressed by political, top industry and corporate representatives from Australia and overseas,” said APPEA chairman Reg Nelson

“Perth offers delegates the new state-of-the-art Convention facility where they will be provided with the opportunity to mix with the authors of the technical papers and posters and absorb the new technology and information that is contained in the largest APPEA exhibition ever held.”

The program will also include a series of social events before, during and after rhe main conference program. Industry seminars and tours are also now included, Nelson said.
