Ashmore seismic commences

The partners in AC/P 32 in the Vulcan sub-basin - Norwest Energy, Bounty Oil & Gas and OPIC Australia - have commenced a 125 line kilometre seismic shoot in the Timor Sea permit.

The Skua field lies 35km to the west and the Challis and Cassini oilfields are situated 20km to the north west of AC/P 32.

The survey is designed to provide more information over the Magnolia, Wisteria and Azalea prospects.

The shoot is being conducted in conjunction with Santos.

Interests are Norwest Energy 49%, Bounty Oil & Gas 26% and OPIC Australia 25%.
