The agreement covers all of Worley’s offices worldwide, which allows the EPC management services specialist to “increase productivity through core engineering tool standardisation, streamlined work processes and a consistent training methodology”.
In a statement Worley said, “The agreement covers the SmartPlant suite of engineering applications including SmartPlant Foundation information and workflow management software, MARIAN materials and procurement management system, INtools lifecycle instrumentation engineering package and PDS (Plant Design System).”
According to Worley director Robert Edwardes, “Intergraph will play a key role in support of Worley’s Capability Platform Project. The primary objective is to significantly improve the efficiency and predictability of project outcomes.”
“With Intergraph’s support, we believe that the CPP will enable Worley to become even more competitive. And now that Worley has implemented MARIAN at a few sites, we are beginning to truly understand how it will support significantly improved project delivery,” added Edwardes.
