Electronic air leakage sensor released

The German firm said, “The efector metris has been specially developed to monitor air consumption [and] accurately measures the amount of air that is consumed by air system, to prevent leakage at any point of the pneumatic system.”

“It detects leakage points by continuously monitoring air consumption in smaller areas of a plant, designated as “zones”. If the efector metris detects an unusual amount of air usage, the zone can be targeted for predictive maintenance. Leaks are then located, and can therefore be repaired quickly to prevent further loss of air,” it added.

To ifm efector, the effector metris is a useful tool anywhere pneumatic systems are used. According to ifm efector CEO Abi Baer said, “We are here to create solutions to people’s problems, making sure our products are of the highest quality and durability in harsh environments such as the mining and oil and gas industries”.
