Input needed from industry on construction safety standards

NOHSC hopes to declare the standard and code later this year, with the expectation that OHS jurisdictions, including Western Australia, will adopt the standard within their own regulatory framework.

In WA an industry forum facilitated by the National Commission has been proposed to take place at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) during the week of 19 - 23 July.

If you would like to attend and have your say on this important issue, contact Michelle Ash on 9365 7696 or e-mail ash@cciwa.com to register your interest by today, Wednesday, 7 July.

Further information regarding the draft standard, falls code and related documentation is available at the NOHSC website at http://www.nohsc.gov.au/PublicComment/COP_Falls/default.asp
