Andrew Mills, from Ionik Consulting will present a brief introduction to the Risk Based Inspection process, with objective demonstrations of how to manage inspection processes and results within a computerised information system. He will also explain the incorporation of damage mode algorithms within the information system, which was developed in conjunction with Netlink Inspection Systems.
Andrew has 10 years experience as a Materials Engineer in various industries and gained exposure to a wide range of materials and material applications. He has been involved in materials development, specification, testing, with a particular emphasis on high performance wear materials.
Through Ionik Consulting, Andrew has been involved in development of Asset Integrity Management Systems and risk based assessment/ management for diverse assets (gas plants, iron ore operations, and subsea pipelines/ offshore structures).
