KBR wins emergency Iraqi clean-up gig

Halliburton unit Kellogg, Brown & Root (KBR) has been awarded a US$250,000 contract to handle the...

In a statement KBR said, “Equipment is being trucked south to start the spill clean-up, which is expected to take a week to 14 days.”

“The South Oil Co, part of Iraq’s oil ministry, is doing the work, while KBR is providing parts and labour,” added the company.
