Solar Sales continues overseas push

MD John Hall said the 22 year old company was supplying small solar-powered systems that will supply power for a communications system in a non-hazardous area of the Qatargas LNG facility.

He said they were supplying 21 systems to the main sub contractor, JBK Controls, also located in Qatar, which would do the installation.

Each system was based around a 75w solar module with a 40 amp hour sealed battery and a number of system accessories.

Solar Sales has several large international projects awaiting confirmation and is planning an Initial Public Offering later in the year.

Hall said the solar power industry is booming world wide with manufacturers struggling to keep up with unprecedented demand.

He said Solar Sales was also currently in negotiation with GE Energy LLC of the United States for distribution of their solar module range in Australia and New Zealand.
