The Linda platform has six well slots and has been located to access gas and condensate from the Linda, Rose and Lee fields. Initial production will be from the one well, Linda-3.

The project continues Apache’s successful method of linking satellite production areas to the Varanus Island Hub and infrastructure.

As expected, for the time of year serious weather was encountered with the project enduring three cyclones which hit the Pilbara coast in February/March within a three-week period.

However, all targets were met safely and on time with overall project completion achieved ahead of contracted dates.
