ESG said this means Narrabri is on target for its early June 2004 operational commencement.

Already completed on-site are the pads and the high voltage earth grids & footings, all the cables, and the Siemens circuit breakers and the ABB voltage transformers.

Still awaiting delivery, aside from the generators, are the 66 kV step-up transformers, the current transformers, the GEER 11kV switch-board control room and the control switch-boards.

EGS has also confirmed the laying of the pipeline is due to commence next week and work on the fabrication and assembly of the well head and gas delivery skids have already begun.

In a statement EGS said, “Financial close for the A$3.5 million of project finance is near with the final outstanding procedural item being registration of the pipeline easement on landholder titles.”
