Gorgon, govt. scrum down for Rugby World Cup

The Western Australian Business & Investment Centre (WABIC) is using the Rugby World Cup (RWC) games in Perth as a chance to promote business networking and investment opportunities in WA.

With the background of the RWC, the WABIC and the Department of Industry and Resources is offering a series of business matching and introductory services, industry opportunity briefings, networking functions and information services for investors and other business people.

Particularly aimed at the Petroleum industry are a number of presentations on the 16th and 17th of October detailing WA's marine capabilities as well as resources projects in the state, including the much publicised Gorgon Project off the north coast.

For further information, contact the Western Australian Business & Investment Centre on e-mail rugbymail@doir.wa.gov.au, call Chris Szydlowski on (08) 9222 5684 or go to www.rugbyaustralia.biz.
