Gas-strapped Germany pushes for G-7 reversal on fossil fuel funding

Germany is pushing for the G7 to walk back a commitment that would halt the financing of overseas fossil fuel projects by the end of the year, BNN Bloomberg reported yesterday, citing people familiar with the matter. The G7 includes Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the UK, and the US.
