Santos adds CO2 to resource statement

SANTOS has booked a 100 million tonne CO2 storage resource within its Cooper Basin acreage where it plans the 1.7 million tonne per annum Moomba carbon capture and storage project, which it shares with Beach Energy.

This is part of its reserves and resources statement to December 31, following its all-scrip takeover of Oil Search in late 2021, which it calls a merger. Its 2P reserves rose by 835 million barrels...
