Viva profit down 50% but within revised guidance

REFINER and petrol supplier Viva Energy’s half year results for the period ending June 30 find sales volumes up 2.5% over the previous corresponding period at 7.12 billion litres, refining operational availability of 94% and refining intake of 21.4 million barrels, a rise of 12%.
