US LNG exports to China fall off cliff

US EXPORTS of LNG to China have dropped sharply with only a single cargo sent so far this year as the two major economies remain locked in a trade standoff that began in the middle of last year.

Reuters' data suggests the only cargo came from Cheniere Energy's Louisiana Sabine Pass terminal at the end of January.    It does also suggest "a handful" of cargoes currently in the Pacific Ocean...
