"Work on the modules is expected to start in Indonesia from November 2014," Semborp said of the contract won by its subsidiary SMOE.
While the project was not named by Sembcorp, Chevron has confirmed to ENB that the contract was for the Wheatstone LNG project it operates.
On the Pilbara coast 12km west of Onslow, Wheatstone is targeting 8.9 million tonnes per annum of capacity with first exports in 2016.
It already has approval to expand to 25MMtpa.
