AUSTRALIA is on track to overtake Qatar as the largest LNG exporter with predictions Australia's LNG exports will triple to 63 million tonnes per year by 2016-17.

The LNG export forecast comes from the Bureau of Resources and Energy Economics gas market report which also states LNG exports will continue to increase until the end of this decade to meet rising demand....
