BG may seek Asian gas assets: report

BRITAIN'S BG Group could be looking to invest in Asian liquefied natural gas, after its bid for Origin Energy failed, according to a Macquarie Group report.

The report said such assets would help boost the company's LNG project pipeline, "which was looking a bit thin", and improve its ability to profit from the "premium priced" Asian market, Bloomberg reported....
