Woodside Petroleum and Inpex are both planning respective LNG developments in the Kimberley that will use gas from Browse Basin fields.

According to an ABC News report, crocodile expert and film-maker Malcolm Douglas will appear in the adverts, which are being funded by a local lobby group.

Meanwhile, the ABC also reports that the Greens Senator Rachel Siewert is calling on the Western Australian Government to implement a regional planning process for the Kimberley to protect it from what she calls “haphazard development”.
