WorleyParsons JVs win FEED work at Pluto

FWWP, a JV of WorleyParsons and Foster Wheeler, will undertake FEED work on the onshore gas plant and associated infrastructure, including storage facilities, a loading jetty, shipping channel and turning basin. FWWP is already doing engineering design and construction for the Woodside-managed Train 5 expansion.

Meanwhile, Eos, a JV of WorleyParsons and KBR, has won the FEED contract for the offshore platform and systems engineering for all the subsea facilities at Pluto.

The project is expected to receive final approval by Woodside by mid-2007, at which time a decision will be made about extending the respective contracts with FWWP and Eos into engineering, procurement and construction management contracts.

Each of these contracts is expected to be material for WorleyParsons.
