Under the LOA, the Kellogg Joint Venture-Gorgon will perform pre-FEED activities up to a maximum value of AUD$11 million for a fixed four month period, said Clough Services Division CEO, Simon High.
“The award of this LOA bodes well for Clough following on from previous successes on LNG projects in the region," High said.
Clough Limited CEO and Managing Director David Singleton said Clough Services Division and Clough Property would form the base to support the regrowth of Clough’s contracting business and were targeted to generate around 50% of the group’s earnings in the future.
"The Gorgon project will support our strategic decision to make Clough Services a much more significant contributor to the group’s bottom line, through execution of non-EPC contracts,” Singleton said.
The Gorgon LNG project is in north-west Western Australia. The joint venture comprises ChevronTexaco (operator), Shell and ExxonMobil.
