In a statement Purnomo said, “I initially dwelt on the plan with Qatar and Oman, when they asked for a meeting among the gas producer countries and made a commitment to meet each other’s needs when they have a shortage.”
“Now, we are seeking time to meet with the producer countries of the Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) and to discuss the cooperation plan. Indonesia would get benefit from the plan in complying with its commitment of foreign contracts [and ensure] the security of supply,” added Purnomo.
