Samsung, IHI team to build LNG supertankers

Under the terms of the deal signed by the two companies, IHI will provide the Korean giant with the technology to construct super-large LNG tankers. According to an IHI spokesperson, "IHI is also considering consigning production of large tankers to Samsung Heavy."

Samsung Heavy is considered one of the world's largest fabricators of LNG tankers.
