A judgement handed down in the Federal Court on Wednesday dismissed the CFMEU's bid to access the site while waiting for a hearing on Woodside's agreement with other unions, which is registered under Federal law.

The CFMEU attempted to access the site under State law since it was locked out of the site since late last year.

CFMEU legal officer Tim Kucera expressed disappointment at losing the bid for access but was pleased a decision would be made soon.
