Doric-2 is in Production Licence TL/1, and is a deviated well from the Linda Platform. The bottom hole is about 2km northwest of the Linda Platform.

“The well has drilled ahead to the planned total depth of around 3800m measured depth,” Tap said yesterday afternoon.

“The Doric-2 development well is designed to produce gas from the Doric gas field. The well will now be completed for production via the existing HJV gas facilities.”

The HJV comprises Apache (operator with a 68.5% stake), Kufpec Australia (19.2771%) and Tap (12.2229%).
