The Conglomerate E at a depth of 3910-3918 feet (1191-1194m) was fracture stimulated with 12,500 gallons of 70-quality nitrogen foam carrying 16,000 pounds of proppant.
Upon flowing back the stimulation treatment fluid, the well has been averaging 135,000 cubic feet of gas per day at a flowing tubing pressure of 240psi. Before this treatment, the well was averaging 45,000cf/d.
Advance said this increased production would add about $US10,000 ($A13,298) per month to the company’s cash flow, assuming the well flows an average of 125,000cf/d and average price of $US6 per thousand cubic feet.
The company added that the Cabot-Kramer-3 well still has a behind pipe reservoir that will be brought online once the current completion has stabilised. This behind pipe zone is expected to come online at an additional 200,000cf/d.
This is the fourth workover for the Palo Pinto project, in which Advance has a 75% working interest.
Meanwhile, at its Martin County Texas project, Advance says it has committed to drilling the Graham-2 well – a step out from the Graham-1 that will drain the same reservoirs.
Expected to spud in early November, Graham-2 will be drilled to a total depth of 11,000ft to test all six horizons deemed productive in Graham-1.
Advance will have a 22.5% working interest in the well, which is expected to cost a total of $1.2 million.
