Devon Energy is operating six of these wells, while Williams Production is operating the remaining four wells.
“Preliminary well data has led both operators to set pipe to further evaluate and begin planning completions,” Tomahawk said.
“The move to complete all wells for production is a very positive outcome for Tomahawk and continues its high drilling success rate.”
Devon and Williams are large and experienced operators in developing unconventional gas, according to Tomahawk.
Tomahawk now has now participated in 28 wells in its Oklahoma drilling program. In addition to the wells with Devon and Williams, it has drilled 18 wells with its partner Metro Energy.
In the project with Metro, the net contingent resource is estimated to be 20-70 billion cubic feet, according to an independent experts report by Gaffney Cline and Associates. Tomahawk hopes to add to this resource potential with the latest wells drilled by Devon and Williams.
