Tomahawk to resume Oklahoma drilling

The program will consist of an initial six wells and will focus on the T10N-R09E area, which the company has said has good prospects for gas discoveries in both conventional formations and unconventional Woodford and Caney Shale formations.

The T10N-R09E area is adjacent to the areas where Tomahawk’s existing 17 wells are located (T10N-R11E and T10N-R12E).

This drilling program will be funded from a combination of cash flow from existing wells, the company’s latest share purchase plan and the recently completed placement of 4.4 million shares at 75c each which raised $3.3million before costs of the issue.

The offer documents for the share purchase plan were dispatched to eligible shareholders on 10 July 2005. The offer will close Wednesday August 31.
