The measures and the poorly developed, water-bearing High Cliff sections will be abandoned after the Arc Energy-operated well was drilled 3,003 metres, Sydney-based Origin said yesterday.

But the bore was gas-bearing over about 205 metres and a suspension plug is being set at 620-750m for sidetracking of the well in the future.
