The former West Australian state gas distributor has expanded its business significantly with the Duke Energy asset acquisition which gave Alinta an Eastern States base from which to grow its business.
In other news, Alinta as one of the owners of the Dampier to Bunbury Natural Gas Pipeline announced the appointment of Stuart Hohnen to the position of executive chairman of the DBNGP group.
Hohnen was deputy chairman of AlintaGas from 1995 to 1998 and also spent five years as chief executive of the Department of Resources Development.
