The company reported that it continued to drill through its target section to reach a total depth of about 1,900m and intersected two additional zones that flowed gas to surface. One of these gas flows appeared to be accompanied by liquid hydrocarbons.

Sunshine Gas now intends to complete running wire-line logs after freeing a stuck tool and conducting conventional straddle testing of the best developed zones.

Sunshine Gas Limited has a 100% stake in Champagne Creek.
