The wells at Kakwa have on test produced both oil and gas from multiple zones in the Cardium Formation.
Following testing the three wells will now be tied in to the gas transportation system and begin production around April. Oil will be produced separately.
Drillsearch subsidiary Circumpacific Energy Corporation has a 12.5% working interest in the wells. Drillsearch said it expects that group gross revenue will increase to about A$8 million this year.
