Gas swap positive for Sunshine

Sunshine Gas subsidiary, Interstate Pipelines, has entered into a gas swap agreement with Santos QNT for the sale of gas from the Roma Joint Venture in which Interstate Pipelines holds a 15% interest.

Gas swap positive for Sunshine

The swap began last week and will involve up to 135TJ of gas (Interstate share) over 2004.

This additional sale under the gas swap agreement is in addition to the existing gas sales contracts with the joint ventures and will provide additional revenue to the Sunshine Gas group.

Sunshine Gas acquired Interstate Pipelines Pty Ltd and the interest in the

Roma Joint Venture in August 2003.
