Sunrise on track: Woodside

WOODSIDE has described today's EnergyReview.net story on rumours surrounding the closure of the S...

A statement from the company in response to the story said the review of development options for Greater Sunrise is progressing on schedule and as planned.

It also said domestic gas and LNG customers will now be approached for their firm and final positions on Sunrise supply.

"Both options remain on the table while the Sunrise joint venture partners consider the merits of each and seek to reach alignment on a forward work program and budget. A decision is anticipated late November/early December," said the statement.

"In the meantime the work program will focus on resolving remaining market and commercial issues. The technical work will support these efforts and focus on rounding out the existing studies in readiness for a Basis of Design decision."
