The new managing director for the Perth-based Newfield Exploration Australia Ltd will be Mr Jim Eisterhold, who is currently a production engineer in the company's Gulf of Mexico, East Division.
The outgoing managing director of Australian operations, Mr Lee Boothby, will be named president of Newfield Mid-Continent Inc, which is located in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Mr Boothby joined Newfield in 1999 and, according to industry watchers, has helped the company to become recognised as an efficient and effective operator in Australia.
