ConocoPhillips announced Bill Berry, currently president of Asia Pacific, will be promoted to head the company's upstream, or exploration and production, business on 1 January. Mr Berry, 50, who joined Phillips in 1976, will replace Rob McKee, who will retire on March 31 after 35 years with Conoco and ConocoPhillips.
