The WA meetings of the Petroleum Club and the Society of Petroleum Engineers will held on Tuesday...

Gary Jeffery, of power player Griffin Group, will address the Petroeum Club at the Hilton Hotel at 6pm for 6.30pmon their Sustainable Project Development in WA. Watching the coal man trying to sell their pitch to the gas (and red wine) driven audience should be interesting.

The following day David Guise of Nexen Petroleum will address the Society of Petroleum Engineers on the Buffalo Field Re-development. During 2001 an intensive geophysical, geological and reservoir engineering analysis was carried out on the Buffalo Field which is located in the Bonaparte Basin.

This work resulted in the successful drilling of two infill wells, during March to June 2002.

The presentation will also present the results of the program, which has successfully increased reserves and extended the economic life of the Buffalo Field .
