Brookside stacks up acreage position

PERTH-based junior Brookside Energy has tripled its leaseholding in the emerging Stack Meramec play, Oklahoma, in partnership with 15%-owned local player Black Mesa Production, and it continues to talk up the potential of its licences, which sit in one of the US' most active emerging plays.

It has secured a further 110 acres in the core of the play, taking its total non-operated working interest leasehold interests to 160 acres spread across six soon to be drilled 1280 acre spacing units....
