Santos denies Lebanon interest

LEBANON is preparing to enter the rat race of Mediterranean Sea exploration, ending years of paralysis but, despite media reports earlier in the week, Australian oiler Santos will not be among those bidding for an offshore licence, although it did pre-qualify for bidding several years ago, <i>Energy News</i> understands.
