Boost for Indian exploration

OIL and gas software firm Paradigm has opened up a Seismic Centre of Excellence in Mumbai in a sign that India is ramping up local efforts to unlock indigenous hydrocarbons to help deal with its ongoing energy crisis, even as the under-fire Gujarat State Petroleum Company has pulled out of exploring in Australia and internationally.
