Derby spat reignites

OIL BASINS' impressive Derby Block announcement this morning of a 77.1% rise in prospective potential recoverable P90 resources at its Derby Block has been soured after it refused to give up operatorship of the block to Rey Resources, which was due to take over EP487.

OBL announced yesterday afternoon that it had not resigned its operatorship of EP487 claiming Rey and its subsidiary Rey Lennard Shelf, which has 50% of the block, that RLS did not meet the agreed preconditions...
