Norwest banking on nearology

NORWEST Energy is hoping to tap into the buzz over new energy around the Cliff Head field and the onshore Waitsia discovery, saying there has been "revitalised interest" in its 100%-owned TP/15, a small coastal permit between the Perth Basin's main production centres.

The company has held the permit for several years, drilling one well at Red Hill-1 to date, and is keen to drill an extended reach well to test the 160 million barrel Xanadu structure from an onshore location....
