Central's $130M Mereenie gamble

RICHARD Cottee has completed another coup in Central Australia, using his close relationship with Santos to secure a 50% operating interest of the Mereenie oil and gas field in the Amadeus Basin in a move that sets Central up as a major beneficiary of the proposed Northern Territory-East Coast Interconnector.
