Grand Gulf strengthens US position

GRAND Gulf Energy has struck a deal with fellow Napoleonville explorer OGI Group to buy its subsidiary Birdwood Louisiana for $US575,000 (about $A675,000).

The deal is part of the latter's move to exit its US portfolio. The transaction will mean Grand Gulf ups its interests in Desiree project and the Dugas & Leblanc number 3 well to 39.6% and 55.3% respectively....
